Diagnosis

Blogging Marathon Day #7

X-Rays. Cartilage looks OK there. Little bit of a groove worn in on the outside of the kneecap.

MRI from 2006. The neglected to send the me the records from the latest test.

Diagnosis: Low grade chondromalacia.

Hmmm. Sounds right, but why did it come on all of the sudden?

  1. Not bad. Tape and run? It could be way worse. I always hold my breath for no fracture and no tears when I get xrays. You'll be ok in no time!

  2. Congrats! (I think...). I'm glad it's nothing requiring serious surgery. But did it really come on all of a sudden? Or did it just become severe all of a sudden?

  3. To me, if it had been something like a cartilage tear, that is a simple repair. This really tells you nothing. Bummer . . .
