Bart- I think I pulled my hypothalamus. If you have one from a mammal, that would great, but I'll take whatever you got. Do you do replacements?
Scott- your blog is already way better than mine. It is finely crafted writing. your posts are are worth reading more than once, because half the jokes and references go over my head the first time through.
Aw, man, this is truly a dark day indeed. You're going to post stuff on Facebook everyday, though, right? :-P
Seriously, I hope this hiatus is a short one. You really do bring an original and entertaining perspective to the usual running blog topics. Heal well Anthony!
Ok . . . so you 'bit off a little more then you could chew.' DNFs happen when you are pushing the bounds of your personal limits . . . you were testing yourself.
Now dust yourself off, and get back out there and blog!
The running injury things is a little different. Not sure what to do about that! But good luck finding the solution (and there IS a solution for your issues!)
We need you out there inspiring us and making us laugh.
Dag, how long do I keep you in my "links" before I realize you are serious? You can still come by and say "heh" on my blog. I will see you out on te road someday.
Which part went caput? I think I can score you an only slightly used cerebellum. Does it have to be human?
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Anthony. Get well and get back to running and blogging when you can. Your mental and physical health out weigh any blogging commitments.
ReplyDeletecheers,
Scott
PS: I will miss your blog. It is truly excellent and the inspiration for my own feeble attempts at blogging.
